Global producer and distributor Fremantle today announced a new deal with U.S. streaming service Hulu to bring Jamie’s latest series Keep Cooking and Carry On to U.S. audiences. The series sees Jamie Oliver share easy-to-follow recipes, tips and ingredient swaps, specifically tailored for the challenging times we’re living in with so many people staying at home. Following its successful launch in the UK on Channel 4 earlier this year, Keep Cooking and Carry On will make its U.S. debut on Hulu on 27th July 2020.

Jamie will demonstrate how to make the most from kitchen staples and show viewers how they can be creative with whatever ingredients they’ve got at home, and whatever their budget. From clever ideas with frozen food, to recipes drawn entirely from the store-cupboard, Jamie will be on hand to show home cooks how to make nutritious and delicious food using simple ingredients that the whole family can enjoy.

And for those feeling a little more ambitious, Jamie will be showing viewers just how easy it is to make a simple bread dough and pasta from scratch, using just flour and water, how to make an easy fish pie using frozen ingredients, as well as super simple egg-less brownies.

Caroline Kusser, EVP, Co-Production & Distribution, International, Fremantle said: “We are proud to be partnering with Hulu to bring Jamie Oliver’s latest series to audiences across the U.S. Given the unique situation that we are experiencing, there has never been a better time to inspire viewers to get creative in the kitchen with Jamie’s fun and simple recipes. It is the perfect addition to Hulu’s extensive catalogue of quality British programming.”

Samantha Beddoes, Executive Producer at the Jamie Oliver Group, said: “I am so excited that Keep Cooking is going to be shared with a new audience in the US. The series was produced extraordinarily quickly as a direct response to people looking for help in these unprecedented times. People who were looking for useful and practical advice to respond to the fluctuating availability of ingredients as well as inspiration for new ways to cook for the family. Jamie was in exactly the same boat as all of us watching, and his simple and flexible approach to cooking is just what we all need right now.”

The show was commissioned by Sarah Lazenby, Channel 4’s Head of Formats and Features and Commissioning Editor Timothy Hancock. Sam Beddoes is Executive Producer and Katie Millard is the Series Producer for Jamie Oliver Productions.

Jamie: Keep Cooking and Carry On is distributed internationally by Fremantle.
